Just like Dickens

Mark Leslie (who I’ll admit I have never heard of) is publishing his next book via a … here it comes … BLOG!

That’s right, the grand tradition of Charles Dickens (who published many of his works as monthly installments before they were sold as novels) will now be repeated using today’s technology:

“I wanted to pay homage to a literary master like Dickens,” Leslie says. “Stephen King did it in the six part publication of his novel 'The Green Mile' and I thought it was time to bring serialized fiction to a phenomenon that is currently hot and exciting for readers today.”

  1. Yeah, there are some sites like that out there. Currently I'm reading one called Rommmate from hell… Ok, that was weird. When my cursor goes out of the box it keeps going… and I can't see what I'm typing. Wonder if it's an issue with IE. Or a width thing. I use 1024×768.

    Plus he has another one somewhere. Of course these are literary works done in the form of blogs, not books published upon blogs… but I don't think the idea is that far from what he did.

    Anyway, the text box is driving me crazy. TTYL.
