Planning to Travel?

Dec - 16 - 2005

Whenever I sit down to plan travel to a new place I have to decide where to fly into – but I have no idea what airports are in the area. That’s where this new Google mashup could come in handy – with a few upgrades. The mashup is titled: World Airport and Airspace Database and it has a “database of over 11,000 airfields and airports across the world” … but what I’d really love to do is plug in the address of my hotel and then see what airports are nearest – wouldn’t that be handy?
