I have to say, I tend to agree with you but I have to admit these Facebook emails are pissing me off.
The way I chose to handle this problem is by using &lt;a href="http://www.8hands.com" rel="nofollow"&gt;8hands&lt;/a&gt;, the profile aggregator. That way I get my notifications to the desktop, with its full content (If someone's sent me a msg, I can read it straight from the desktop. Don't have to log in to FB) and my email account is Facebook free. you should try it.</description>
