What do you listen to?
In my new role, I’m going to have to keep up with what people are saying about libraries, open source and technology in general. I’m sure you’re thinking that I’m already doing that - but now I have to do it full-time! So, here’s my list of podcasts:

Do you think I should be listening to anything else? Are you listening to anything interesting that I missed?

Uncontrolled Vocabulary is an excellent one. It’s a group of varying sizes that anyone can call in and join the discussion! They do the major library issues of the week but seem open to discussion of other topics anyone suggests to them using their del.icio.us tag (unvocab).

I really like Digital Campus (http://digitalcampus.tv/)
the description: “A biweekly discussion of how digital media and technology are affecting learning, teaching, and scholarship at colleges, universities, libraries, and museums”
It might at least be worth checking the show notes every so often to see if they are talking about something you’re interested in. I especially liked the episode on the OLPC and other linux based low cost computing platforms (http://digitalcampus.tv/2008/01/16/episode-19-big-things-in-small-packages/) and the one on Wikipedia (http://digitalcampus.tv/2007/03/06/episode-01-wikipedia-friend-or-foe/)
