Congratulations! Library school is so much fun. As far as funding goes I got everything through school, and it’s mostly loans. We have a small number of fellowships here, so I would certainly ask around at whatever shools you’re applying to and see what they have. Also check the professional associations, as you might be eligible for some of what they have to offer (American Library Association and your state library association in particular). I have been looking recently and a lot of what I have found seems to be for minorities or particular ethnic groups, but perhaps you’ll have more luck than me! If I hit upon anything else I will let you know.

Congratulations! What an exciting step! With the skills and experience you have AND an MLS, you\\\’ll be UNSTOPPABLE! I don\\\’t know anything about the getting funding thing (I got it through my school), but there\\\’s no better place to do research for stuff like that than the library. Good luck with everything!
