A while ago people were taking this quiz (mentioned on It’s All Good) - but I figured I’d fail - so I didn’t. Today I took it and to my surprise I got a fitting score:
Aspiring Librarian
You scored 44% on knowledge of librarianship.
You’re getting there - you know more than most people about libraries. Maybe you’re starting Library School and getting yourself ready to take over the profession. Or maybe you already work in a library but just don’t know some of the history and details. But, you’re more of an aspiring librarian than a full-fledged librarian.
I wish they told me which I got right and which I got wrong - I was guessing on a lot of questions.

Well I got “Aspiring Librarian” (41%), but I think maybe the classifications should be:
- 0-20% Not a Librarian
- 10-30% Librarian
- 30-50% Knowledgeable Librarian
- 50-70% American Librarian
- 70%+ American Librarian and Active ALA Member
… not a very internationally and culturally independent test !
