I was watching the morning news today and they mentioned that Google has a word processing program that will rival MS Word - bet you all know what they were talking about - the fact that Google bought Writely.
Recently I’ve been hearing a lot about familiar sites on the morning news. Last week it was all about the dangers of MySpace — yes dangers! And this week it’s Google’s acquisition of Writely. I find it a bit funny when I see things like this on TV, because it makes the newscasters look so out of touch with what is really going on - mentioning things that we (the online community) have known about for ages like they’re new inventions.
Just thought I’d share my little observation with you all — now I’m off to write an article on RSS!
