Family Photo Sharing

Amiglia is an awesome looking photo sharing site. It lets you share photos with your family in a sort of family tree layout.

Confused? I was too - but then I played with the little demo on the home page and I think I get it. Basically you can link your album to your family’s albums and it makes a sort of family tree out of your ablums. I’ll have to play more if I have time - probably not this week - but soon.

Thanks for the heads up on Amiglia. I am looking for a place to create a family site, and Amiglia is great. I also came across TheFamilyPost.com. It has similar features, but it struck me as a bit more user friendly. Please let me know what you think.

    Thanks again,

I haven’t actually tried out Amiglia - or the Family Post, but thanks for the heads up on the new site - I’ll have to give it a look.

I have a website from Thefamilypost, it is better than the rest of the family sites by a large margin, Amiglia is nice but it is not really a “site”, and it is difficult to understand how it works or what it does, thefamilypost is dumbed down, maybe too much for some, but it’s real easy to understand what they are doing…some of their designs I don’t care for, but it is the wiki is really cool and way easy…

Both of these sound cool — thanks! I’ve been checking out Flickr and having trouble figuring out which groups are friends and family. Also, Vox lets you do a lot of this stuff too. Studio4kids.tv has a new feature that lets me send links to my documents, photos, and videos from a secure spot to my family members — that one is cool as you also can watch kids’ tv shows there. But I probably use Flickr the most — it is really simple and I can just send links to my family.
