IL2006 – Ready and Waiting

May 29th, 2006

Looks like I’m not the only one excited about Internet Librarian this year. The wiki is up, the program is up and I’m ready to head to California.

This is the first year I’ll be presenting – and I get to sit on a panel with well known wiki users like Meredith Farkas and Chad Boeninger – both of whom I got to meet at CIL this year. I’ll be talking about how we’re using the wiki on our Intranet – which has been a huge hit!!

I also noticed something that made me very happy! There is going to be a session on the Second Life Library on Monday – that is going right on my schedule!

Anyway, check out the wiki and the program – this conference is well worth attending.

    Good luck with the presentation!

The programme for the UK Internet Library 2006 Conference has also been posted: http://www.internet-librarian.com/

Looking at the cost, I noticed that the London event is only for two days and is more than twice the cost of the US event. The London IL event (not including accomodation or access to workshops) works out at the equivalent of $855.52 — hurumph and bah humbuggery! :-(

Guess you should just come to the US event then :)
