I really like Dreamhost. A bonus is that if you give them my email address when you sign up, I get a small amount of money (about 1 month) off of next year's hosting. That's always cool. :) Some of the things I like about them: really good customer service (the few times I've needed it, they've been exceedingly responsive), one-click installs of Wordpress, Joomla, and loads of other softwares, and a funny monthly newsletter. Yeah, I know, the last one isn't really a "feature" or anything, but they have a sense of humor as well as a streak of charity (they have a charity of the month they promote each month).

Anyhow, good luck finding a good host.
