I actually haven't fixed it - and your way would make it so that my windows would show every time I opened Firefox. I'm just talking about when Firefox is updating and it closes itself and re-opens - or when the browser crashes. Both of these things happened in the past and when I restarted Firefox it had my tabs all there for me. That's what I'm looking for.

You've probably already fixed this, but in case you haven't, I don't think it's an add-on - go to Tools > Options > Main and you'll see the option for 'When Firefox starts:' - select the 'Show my windows and tabs from last time' option (as opposed to 'Show my home page' or 'Show a blank page').
