After my post about the Library Geeks podcast I thought about it and I really should buy a headset - so I want recommendations. What ones are you using and which do you like? I’ve heard some podcast interviews where I have to fast forward through a specific speaker because they’re so darn quiet [...]

I’m in the chapter on blogging and Michael is talking about blogging internally for communication within libraries. I’m thinking - “Boy its shame that I didn’t get to [...]

This is a fun little site - Go2Web20.net - says it’s the complete Web 2.0 directory. What makes it fun is that all of the sites are listed as logos - it’s an easy way to quickly browse through Web 2.0 apps.

There is a new site I just read about on ResourceShelf - Book Sale Scout. On first look I didn’t really want to explore much further - the design is severely lacking (a point that I emailed to the owners) - but I’m glad I did browse on. Using this service, you can [...]

Stephen Abram has a list of Book Recommendation Engines and he’s looking for any more you might know about. His list has 19 sites - most of which I’ve tried at one time or another - but there are a few I’m off to give a whirl.

I mentioned that I was half way through Tim Berners-Lee’s Weaving the Web last week - I also mentioned that I couldn’t put it down - well I found a way to.
Turns out I was enthralled in the how the web was started part - but not so much about the future plans. I [...]

I just don’t get it! Why would I want to download movies to my computer when my TV is bigger and my couch is more comfy than my desk chair?
Earlier this month Dan Giancaterino at Jenkins wrote (in a post that made me giggle) about Amazon’s Video download service. He quotes:
Amazon [...]

I missed it! I was going to post something special for my 500th post - but as it turns out I missed it - this is my 503rd in less than a year! That’s right I haven’t even been writing for a year yet - at least I won’t miss that milestone.
