A post at Tame the Web by Juliette Loebl (an MLIS student) makes me a bit jealous!
I am not tech-savvy. I would never hire myself to design a professional-looking website, or create a complex database. Yet, during the last year and a half, in library school, I have had the opportunity to experiment with new [...]

Burned out?

Posted by Nicole on June 13th, 2007 under About Me

Everyone always wonders how I juggle everything - a full-time job, full-time masters program, part-time blogging, and the occasional article and presentation. Well - I think it has finally happened! I think I’m burned out. At least I think that’s what I’m feeling.
I still have the drive to do everything [...]

Boy - today I just keep finding confirmation of every buy out I’ve talked about in the last month. First it was Ebay and StumbleUpon now it’s Google and Feedburner.
FeedBurner, which has more than 400,000 publishers on its network, will beef up Google’s own AdSense publisher network, particularly among blogs, where FeedBurner is stronger [...]

Ebay Acquires StumbleUpon

I wrote last month that Ebay wanted StumbleUpon - well it has happened.
The $75 million cash acquisition gives eBay access to about 2.3 million people who have filled out profiles at StumbleUpon, founded in 2001 by three Canadian software engineers in Calgary. The venture capital-funded company, which recently relocated to San Francisco, is [...]

How did I miss this? I got an email today from Carol Connell Cannon, director of the Lee Memorial Library in NJ and fellow Juniata College Alum. She points me to the fact that you can cite titles you find in WorldCat in (what I assume is) every format. Very handy!!
I usually use [...]
