What I Learned Today…

I posted a bit back about being able to search in Gmail attachments Now there are several more ways you can search your Gmail. A full list of advanced search options can be found on the help page. Among the new search options is the ability to search by attachment size.

I use Google Apps at work and Google for my personal account as well, this means that sometimes I have to take a few steps to log in to both accounts at once. I just logged into Gmail to find that things are changed – not much, but changed just the same. Things look a bit cleaner and I love that my contacts are now at the top of the screen (before they were below my ton of labels). I’m also checking out the changes to contacts which were much needed for someone like me who uses my Google contacts for everything.

Today I was compiling an email and saw a new link next to the attach link: If you click this new ‘Invitation’ link it opens a window to create and invite people to a Google Calendar event. Very cool! [update] More from ReadWriteWeb. [/update]
