Another Speaking Engagement

That’s right I’ll be speaking at 2 Information Today conferences this fall. First you’ll see me at Internet Librarian (check out the wiki) where I’ll talk about the wiki on our Intranet along with a bunch of other well know wiki experts (10/25). Second you can see me at KMWorld & Intranets (check out the wiki) where I will talk about the blogs & the wikis on our Intranet and how it has helped communication in house (11/2) – I will also be moderating a session on the first of November at the KMI conference.

This is going to be a crazy time for me – with work, school, and presenting – but I’m very very excited. So make sure you see me at both conferences.

Internet Librarian Wiki Reminder

Just a reminder to check out the Internet Librarian 2006 Wiki. I’ve actually added a new page today for sharing transportation – aka saving money! I’m also looking for a roommate who doesn’t mind that I wake up at 6am (without an alarm clock). If you exist feel free to email me.

You can see how (if you’re attending the conference) this page can be a handy resource – even if you have nothing else to write – you can share your schedule with other attendees.

See you there!

IL2006 – Ready and Waiting

Looks like I’m not the only one excited about Internet Librarian this year. The wiki is up, the program is up and I’m ready to head to California.

This is the first year I’ll be presenting – and I get to sit on a panel with well known wiki users like Meredith Farkas and Chad Boeninger – both of whom I got to meet at CIL this year. I’ll be talking about how we’re using the wiki on our Intranet – which has been a huge hit!!

I also noticed something that made me very happy! There is going to be a session on the Second Life Library on Monday – that is going right on my schedule!

Anyway, check out the wiki and the program – this conference is well worth attending.
